This term we have found out about Georges-Pierre Seurat .He was a French painter. He was born the 2nd of December of 1859 and died the 29th of March 1891. He was a French post-Impressionist artist. He is best known for devising the painting techniques known as chromoluminarism and pointillism that is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image.
We have told a story about his famous painting "One Sunday afternoon on the island of La Grande Jatte" In addition to viewing a video about his life. Finally We painted the Seurat style making mandalas of colored dots that melt in our brain.
Durante este trimestre hemos investigado al pintor francés Georges-Pierre Seurat, nació el 2 de diciembre de 1859 y murió el 29 de marzo de 1891. Era un artista pos-impresionista, es conocido por la técnica del puntillismo que consiste en dibujar pequeños puntos de color muy juntos hasta formar una imagen.
Hemos contado un cuento sobre su famoso cuadro "Una tarde de domingo en la isla de la Grande Jatte" además de visionar un vídeo sobre su vida. Finalmente hemos pintado al estilo Seurat haciendo unos mandalas de puntos de colores que al alejarse se funden en nuestro cerebro.
