In this unit we have learnt about the planets of the Solar System, the movements of the Earth: rotation and revolution and how they cause day and night and the seasons. We also have learnt about the natural satellite of the Earth the Moon and the name of the different phases. Finally we know that the Earth has three layers: crust, mantle and core. We have made a model of the different layers using play dough. They came out really well and the most important thing they helped us to understand the concept of layer. You can see them in the picture.
En esta unidad hemos aprendido los planetas del sistema solar. Los movimientos de la
Tierra que originan la noche y el día, así como las estaciones del año. Las fases de la Luna y
su movimiento alrededor de la Tierra. La distinción entre las
diferentes capas de la Tierra y su posición. Hemos realizado un modelo de la Tierra mostrando las diferentes capas utilizando plastilina. Han quedado muy bien y nos ha ayudado a entender el concepto.
